In early 2017, the new edition to Jennifer Lopez’s long and popular Glow series arrives, and is a fruity and tropical scent that just wants to have fun. The cap and atomiser are a bright orange.
The top of this poppy fragrance, wild strawberry, mango and wild lime.
The middle is a fun cherry blossom, jasmine, rose and wild flowers.
The base is an ending of honey, vanilla and musk.

28th December 2016:

Hi guys! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, I had a nice one back here!

We got up at Eight ‘O’clock and opened all our presents, I got some really pretty perfume I  plan to review next year and one of my friends got me a t-shirt, all the way from Las Vegas!

After present opening, we had Christmas lunch. Pringles, pink lemonade, a cake, and my personal favourite, macaroons!

Then we all sat down and watched some Christmasy telly, movies, Queen’s Speech, Bake Off. Some really great TV this winter!

We then had Christmas dinner, while the cats played with their brand new toys, that they’ve all gone mad since they’ve got them.

Christmas Princess

HAPPY CHRISTMAS! Here’s a little festive flanker idea to celebrate.

The newest edition to the Vera Wang Princess line up, Christmas Princess comes out in December, and was made with all things wintery in mind.

Fresh red berries are joined by the toasty scent orange blossom, then comes the classic frankincense.

The middle is made up of ylang ylang, lily of the valley and carnation. A Christmassy bouquet of floral love.

The base is sweet and sugary, brown sugar begins with the yummy path of the base. Gingerbread is next, later followed by marzipan, white chocolate and dark chocolate.

Jlight by Jennifer Lopez

In the J line, there has been Jlove, Jluxe and Jlust. Now comes the fourth addition to the line up.
In the summer of 2017, Jlight made its debut with a fun burst of colour and happiness. The square and cap are back, the bottle is this time frosted a light yellow colour and has the standard plastic cap, with the peel away print on the back being a shimmery fish scale print in an aqua shade.
The top of this sunny scent is raspberry, nectarine and grapefruit.
The middle consists of orchid, Lily and a lesser seen note in perfume, cactus.
The base is a sweet caramel, dark chocolate, vanilla and sandalwood.

21th December 2016:

There’s four days until Christmas and I can’t wait! I’m looking forward to spending time with my family, giving them all gifts and sitting around the table with a big festive dinner. We always have vanilla, raspberry and chocolate flavoured macaroons this time of the year, yum YUM!

The cats are looking forward to Christmas too, because it means new cat toys for them to run around the living room at top speed with. I’ve brought them a few toys, but don’t tell them yet!

Not sure what the weather will end up doing on Christmas Day, but six years ago when my family was living in Scotland, it snowed! That had never happened EVER in our lives before and its never happened since. Believe it or not, last year’s Christmas here in Mayo, was sunny!

How The Cats’ Christmas Is Going:

Lilly: Is running up and down the house with a plastic bauble that she’s stolen from off of the tree.

Rocky: Keeps sticking his foot in the water pot and walking up and down the stairs with his wet foot!

Holly: Hid in a cupboard for two hours, making us worry when we had no idea where she was! I’m not sure why she chose the cupboard in the utility room to hide in, or why she was hiding in the first place but it appeared she curled up and went to sleep in there. How she kept with the radiator going, I’m not sure at all!

Freddie: Gets more hungry than usual this time of year and is meowing for lunch at my feet as I type.

Elsa: Has a blocked up nose as a result of the cold, so we are warming up the house to help her get her nose unblocked again.

Kevin: Is leaping off of EVERYTHING! No injuries at the moment though.

Stripe: Is annoyed because the cold has killed off most of the ticks in our area, he likes to ‘collect’ them!

Jlife by Jennifer Lopez

The J line of Jennifer Lopez’s fragrances, there is Jlove, Jluxe, Jlust and (fan made) Jlight. Now is the arrival of Jlife, the fifth edition to this line up of perfumes.
Jlife is the Hollywood and red carpet inspired of the four. That is shown in the bottle itself, which is a bright red box. The print on the back of the cap, is silver and a shimmery glitter effect. So glamourous.
The top of this beautiful perfume, is bergamot, red apple and plum.
The middle is a stunning bouquet of carnation, Lily of the valley, and orange blossom.
The base is a musky ending, with white musk, blue musk, patchouli and ginger.

My Christmas Tree 2016!

This is my Christmas Tree for this year and I’m pretty proud of it! It has fairy lights wrapped around and if you change the setting on them, they can twinkle!

Dad got a three pack of foodie style bauble from Aldi and we added them to our pink, purple and black collection!

Jennifer Lopez fan made perfume coming on Friday, really love this one!

Blue Dot by Marc Jacobs

Sorry this is late!

The original dot (in a red bottle) was a fresh and energetic scent. Now comes a more elegant and posh version of the original dot, Blue Dot.

Blue Dot, captured in the same as the original in a neon blue shade this time, is dressed as more floral and more surprising, catching off guard and is not afraid to be the centre of the attention.

The top notes for this are of blueberries, limes and coconut.

The middle has pink rose, orange blossom, heliotrope, purple peony, apple blossom and orchid.

The base is vanilla, pink musk and liquorice.

Review Of Honey by Marc Jacobs:

I have (And Love!) Dot by Marc Jacobs, so I figured that I would love the sister to this fragrance, Honey.

The bottle is possibly one of my favourite bottles by Marc Jacobs, Dot was themed around ladybugs and Honey is centred around bees and I love how the yellow is a very vibrant shade and the little bee butterflies are just super adorable!

Onto the smell, the notes contain mandarin orange and pear in the top, the middle contains fruit punch, peach nectar, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The base is honey, vanilla and various woods.

When you first spray this, you get the fruit punch and mandarin mixing together, creating a very juicy scent. It reminds me of a cocktail that you get at summer parties.

Later, the peach nectar is really there and so sweet, but the woods are present as well. The actual honey of this perfume, doesn’t make an appearance until the very end, ironically.

This is definitely one for the summer and it could be a signature!
