My Top Ten Disney Characters: Part 4

WARNING: THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR MULAN AND THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG.

3: Mulan

Can you believe that the movie Mulan will be twenty years old in TWO years? I’m still having a hard time getting my head wrapped around the fact that the first Star Wars movie and Snow White will turn forty and eighty respectively, NEXT YEAR?!

Mulan’s elderly father (the only man in her family) is called up to war but everyone and himself knows that if he goes, he will die. So Mulan takes his place in the army without his or the rest of the family’s knowledge. She is one of (if not THE-) most heroic princesses out there and there are quite a few. She ended up saving China and is the only princess in the line up to not have any royal connections and is in there because of her act of heroism. I think her place is well deserved!

2: Tiana:

”The only way to get what you want is through hard work.” She’s completely right as this is a princess focused, not marrying a prince, but opening a restaurant. Driven by her late father, she is unbelievably strong-willed, she sees something talented with her amf also who watched the movie will know there’s more to her than meets the eye.
